Yesss! I saw these idiots on Monday too at a DR near 98th & Broadway. There was tow of them actually. A Male and Female.
They were saying "Welcome to...[something something]...health care services."
I was busy motoring by them in a herd of people recently screwed by the lack of subway service that morning. In droves we were heading to the 96th street station on foot to catch another train.
These wannabe actors were out in full scrubs...the funny hat and all.
Just the idea of getting prescriptions filled there is frightening enough let alone actual medial services. Yikes.
Their service, to my surprise, was fast and efficient. It's better to have more people providing healthcare than just a few of the elitists. While their cashiers may be morons and store managers somewhat slow--my experience with their medical people weren't all that bad.
On the other hand, it's my assumption that they only do it to sell prescriptions--so to combat that, I picked up the prescriptions they assigned me at a private pharmacy. :)
After way too many bar sessions filled with rants about customer service, specifically the DR, we decided to vent our frustrations in prose...and sometimes haiku.

Duane Reade is pathetic. I would never go there for a Doctor. This company really does suck, it will make a buck however it can.
What sort of "free" medical services?

the only thing that would make me happy with that scenario is if they busted out with "Like a Surgeon"
